Connect a support address with email forwarding

Your familiar address stays in place. Your provider forwards a copy of every request to the team’s unique 1stlevel address.

Find the forwarding destination

After signing in, open “Setup” or select the mailbox under “Team settings”. Copy the displayed address in full. Every mailbox has a different destination.

Add it at your provider

The exact label varies. Look for “forwarding”, “redirect” or “routing” in the settings of your existing support address.

  • Microsoft 365: Admin center → Active users → mailbox → Manage email forwarding.
  • Google Workspace: Gmail settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → Add a forwarding address.
  • IONOS: Email → select the address → Forwarding.
  • Strato: Email → Administration → edit forwarding.
  • all-inkl: KAS → Email → Forwarding → New forwarding rule.

Test the connection

Send the test from a different address. With Google, the confirmation code first appears as a ticket in 1stlevel.tech; copy it into Gmail and then enable forwarding.

You may keep a copy in the old mailbox. Avoid two active paths to 1stlevel.tech, as that can deliver the same request twice.
